Sofia and Evana can not get enough of coloring. So today I took them to their very first art class

Pumpkin Carving

We enjoyed pumpkin carving this year as a whole family. Sofia and mami went to 8 different places before we found a pumpkin on 10/31....we weren't going to give up, we were determined God was going to bless us with one...and He did. Evana was fearless of putting her hand in the pumpkin to take out all the gooy stuff but Sofia had to put wear plastic baggies. (her idea) Papi was very detailed in making the cat face....of course! And it turned out great. Mami made the pumpkin seeds and they were delicious!

Easter Week of Memories

Evana was sitting on the potty, she folded her hands and prayed "Dear Jesus please help me get my poopies out!" It was the funniest thing ever. I have no doubt she will never want me to mention it when she gets older!

Saturday the day before Easter Sofia, Evana and mami colored beautiful bright Easter eggs in the morning and then let them dry. Evana took a nap in the afternoon and mami did the same. Sofia was the only one not sleeping. After mami woke up she found that all the beautiful eggs had been pealed....by Sofia. I was definitely not happy when I saw egg shells everywhere but the next day I could laugh about it.

A memorable Easter Day - unfortunately mami had to work this morning at the coffee shop so I couldn't go with papi, Sofia, and Evana to church. But we did do an egg hunt when mami was on her lunch and the girls were so excited. When mami got done with work I waited for everyone to get home from church. Around 3:40 in the afternoon we felt a 7.2 earthquake that was centered in Baja Mexico it was followed by a couple other aftershocks or ripples. It was quite scary. We know that Jesus is Alive and he wants every part of our lives. God bless you all!!

Dreaming about cucumbers

I am so greatful that Evana and Sofia like healthy food, one of their favorite snacks is cut up cucumbers. So this morning when I was getting ready for work at Starbucks Evana was dream and talking in her sleep "Sofia don't take my cucumbers" Thought it was a moment worth remembering. When I told the girls this afternoon they were cracking up. Thank you God for these memories!!

My littliest Miss Congeniality turns 3!!!

Evana celebrated her 3rd birthday on Tuesday. It seems like yesterday we were rushing to the hospital and she was born within minutes of arriving. (thank goodness we ran the red lights) I love you sooo much my little love bug!! God has given you such a big caring heart. You are excellent and very excelled at memorization.....bible verses come easy and you have known the Pledge of Allegance for months. At school Ms. Donna celebrated your birthday and invited sister in for the fun. When you saw Sofia, Ms. Donna told me you gave her a huge hug and said "I love you so much"!! How beautiful, it is my prayer that you and Sofia will be the best of friends all of your lives. After school mami had a little cupcake party at the bay for you with friends. One of the mami's gave you a present and you said "Thank you so much, I love it". I treasure these moments and want to bottle them up. You are so precious and adored Evana. I love you!!

Face Painting with Pedals

Sofia celebrated her little friend from schools' birthday, Jocey. Evana was invited to join in the celebration too. They both had a fabulous time with Pedals the clown as she painted their faces, made balloon animals and swords, ate cake, and demolished the largest Dora pinata I have ever seen.

Kids say the cutest things

We just got in from riding bikes and outside we saw a little dead mouse. Evana saw the mouse and said "mami can you pick up the raton and take him to the doctor."
